Treatment of power plant wastewater by polyacrylamide

TIME:2023-07-21 17:32:50SOURCE:admin

A large amount of water is used in the operation of power plant. The treatment of source water, slag flushing wastewater, ash flushing water, flue gas desulfurization and other wastewater in the process needs coagulation and sedimentation to make the wastewater clear. When polyacrylamide is used as flocculant, anionic polyacrylamide flocculant with molecular weight of about 16 million is generally selected, and medium hydrolysis or low hydrolysis flocculant is selected.

At the same time, the wastewater generated by the power plant needs to be oxidized by air blowing and aeration, and the pH value of the wastewater should be adjusted to the normal range. Then the coagulant PAC polyaluminum chloride is added for coagulation and clarification, and the flocculant PAM polyacrylamide is used to enhance the sludge concentration, and the sludge is concentrated to realize purification. Of course, it also has disadvantages. For example, when the water quality is complex and the water quantity and quality change greatly, the difficulty of water treatment will increase, which will affect the recycling of wastewater. However, in recent years, the application of two-phase flow solid-liquid separation technology has been popularized. The process of flocculation, sedimentation, clarification, slag scraping and sludge thickening is completed in the same combined facility by using one-time dosing coagulation. The sediment, suspended solids and oil in sewage are separated in the same equipment, and the water treatment effect has been improved.
